How it works
Step 1: Choose or drop a PDF and wait for the thumbnails.
Step 2: Click the pages you want to remove, or type them, for example 2, 4-6.
Step 3: Look over the preview to confirm which pages are marked.
Step 4: Save and download the new PDF.
How deleting pages works
The tool shows your PDF as a grid of thumbnails. You mark the pages to remove either by clicking them or by typing page numbers and ranges, for example 2, 4-6. Marked pages are clearly flagged, so you can review the choice before anything is saved.
When you confirm, a new PDF is built from the pages you kept, in their original order. The original file is not modified, and the pages you keep are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality.

Dropping a fax cover sheet
Remove the cover page or a confidentiality notice before forwarding the actual document to a client.
Removing pages that repeat
A scan accidentally captured the same page twice. Delete the duplicate to keep a clean record.

A government form comes with several pages of instructions. Remove them before printing only the sheets you must fill in.

Delete the page listing bank details or an ID number before sharing the rest of a report with a third party.

Choosing pages by clicking or by typing
Clicking suits short documents and pages you can recognise by sight, such as a cover sheet or a photo page. Typing suits long documents where you already know the numbers, for instance 3, 7, 10-15 on a 120-page file.
The two can be combined: type a range to mark most of the pages you want gone, then click individual thumbnails to add or unmark the exceptions. The preview always reflects the current selection.
Deleting pages is not the same as protecting content
Removing a page takes it out of the new file's page list. It does not make the remaining pages any safer. If a page that stays contains a sensitive line or a hidden note, that content is still there.
For sensitive material, use the tool that matches the task: Redact PDF to permanently remove text and images from a page, and Sanitize PDF to clear metadata and other hidden document data. Keep your original copy separately if you may need the deleted pages back.

Good to know
- You cannot delete every page: at least one page must remain.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first (use Unlock PDF).
- Deleting a page does not clean information that stays on other pages. To hide text inside a page, use Redact PDF.
- Bookmarks and links that pointed to a deleted page may no longer work in the new file.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting pages change my original PDF?
No. The original file is left untouched. You download a new PDF that contains only the pages you kept.
How do I type the pages to delete?
Use page numbers separated by commas, and a dash for a range. For example, 2, 4-6 removes page 2 and pages 4, 5 and 6.
Can I delete all the pages of a PDF?
No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool will not let you mark every page for deletion.
Is my PDF uploaded when I delete pages?
No. The thumbnails are drawn and the new file is built in your browser, so the document stays on your device.
Can I get a deleted page back?
Not from the new file, but your original is unchanged. Open it again and delete a different selection, or use Extract PDF Pages to pull out the pages you want.
