How it works

Step 3: Check the grid: it shows exactly what the saved file will contain.

One page grid for the most common page fixes
Organize PDF renders each page as a thumbnail and lets you work on the document the way you would spread paper sheets on a desk. You can drag a page to a new position, turn it, remove it or make a copy of it, and select several pages at once to move or delete them together.
When you save, the tool builds a new PDF from the pages exactly as arranged on the grid. The original file is never modified. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality.

Working efficiently in a long document
Dragging one page at a time across a 60-page grid is slow. Use selection instead: select the pages that belong together, then move, rotate or delete them as a group.
- Start by deleting pages you know you do not need, so the grid gets shorter.
- Fix orientation next, since an upside-down page is easy to spot at thumbnail size.
- Reorder last, when the remaining pages are all ones you want to keep.

When another tool is a better fit
Organize PDF is a general page editor, and for narrow jobs a dedicated tool is quicker. To turn every page by the same amount use Rotate PDF, to remove pages by typing a range use Delete PDF Pages, and to keep just a few pages in a new file use Extract PDF Pages.
It also changes only which pages appear and in what order. It does not edit what is written on the pages. To add or change content, use a tool such as Edit PDF.

Good to know
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first (use Unlock PDF).
- Thumbnails are small previews, so fine details of a page may not be readable on the grid.
- The tool refuses PDFs above 200 MB or 2,000 pages, and long documents need enough device memory to draw all the thumbnails.
- The result is a new page collection, so bookmarks and links that pointed to moved or deleted pages may no longer work.
Your files never leave your browser
This tool runs entirely on your device using your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers and are not stored anywhere. Closing the tab discards everything.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to organize its pages?
No. The thumbnails are drawn and the new file is built in your browser, so the document is never sent to a server.
Can I reorder pages on a phone?
Yes. Tap pages to select them and use the move buttons to change their position. Dragging also works on many touch screens, but the buttons are more precise.
Does the original PDF change?
No. The tool only reads your file and saves a new PDF with the arrangement you made. The original stays as it was.
Can I duplicate a page?
Yes. Select the page and use the duplicate action. The copy appears next to it and you can drag it anywhere.
Will page quality change after rearranging?
No. Pages are copied without re-encoding, so text, images and vector graphics keep the quality they had.
